KWT Welder Training & Testing Center is a company to company weld training, testing, and CWI service center.  Our campus is located at

400 N State St. York, PA. 

 KWT™ offers several professional welding training programs and Certified Welding Inspector services as well as other professional services.

Our instructional staff is qualified through the American Welding Society(AWS) as Certified Welding Inspectors and Certified Welding Educators (CWI/CWE), and together with our expert administrators we train advanced welding programs at various levels.

The Secret to Our Success 

KWT is the abbreviation of Kisner Welding Techniques.  This represents the welding, studying, and planning techniques and strategies developed by KWT founder Chris Kisner.  Over a 20 year period the 13 Primary Kisner Welding Techniques have been developed and proven.  Each technique is an intelligently designed method used by our welders to achieve an advanced level of ability.  

During this same period our welding theory lesson plan was also developed.  Logical progression of technical information is delivered in every KWT training course by way of our proven "RIP Block Training Strategy".  RIP is an abbreviation for Rapid Improvement Program.   This strategy has proven its effectiveness over the years and we currently have RIP Blocks in place for each of the courses listed on the web page. Getting WRIPPED with KWT means you will be exposed to professional information, in the right order to quickly develop an understanding of what you are hoping to learn.  

Welder training at the KWT Welder Training and Testing Center is like a boot camp for welders.  Chris does not really concern himself with your happiness.  He directs the instruction to get the job done and fast.  A strict auditing process is employed to constantly evaluate each training candidate's progress and when necessary more involvement from KWT Leadership is arranged to ensure success.
